About Us

Our Story

Cherished Care was founded by Cherish Angula, a qualified and registered advanced social worker with over 15 years experience working in over 10 London local authorities and surrounding county councils. Her extensive experience with providing support, safeguarding and formulating care plans for older adults within the community and hospital settings, makes her an invaluable asset to Cherished Care.

Whilst finding her role as a social worker, working for government local authorities fulfilling, she found that statutory services where often limited due to bureaucracy, tight budgets and “red tape”. She desired to make an even greater impact, provide a larger range of services and more intricate level of care to service users and their loved ones that was less rushed and more qualitative. Having first hand experienced the challenges and stresses associated with caring for her mother and relative, she became even more passionate about the importance of providing quality care with empathy and a keen listening ear. This was the birth of Cherished Care.

Providing compassionate, bespoke and thorough person centred care are at the very foundation of the culture at Cherished Care. Ensuring that the care provided is safe, effective, well led and empowering is the upmost mission of Cherished Care.
