What is the process of arranging care?

The first step to setting up in home care services is by contacting the care provider (us), we will then set up an assessment of you or your loved one’s care needs.
The assessment will be completed in the potential service user’s  home by our care assessor who will discuss your requirements and preferences. We will advise how we can best meet your identified needs and outcomes. If you are happy to go ahead, a care plan will be formulated.

We will match you qualified carers that will best meet your needs and draw up a service agreement. You can potentially start receiving care as soon as 48 hours after your initial assessment.

What kind of care support can I receive?

We can support you with almost all activities of daily living from ensuring safety by just been present and providing a watchful eye to proving full care to a bed bound individual. All our carers are trained in manual handling and are able to use use specialist equipment like hoists.

We also provide welfare phone call services as well as companionship services which can be in-person or over the phone.

Are there time limits for the care visits?

We provide care calls from 30 minutes per visit up to 24 hours care per day. We provide, night time support, respite support and live-in care services.

Do I get a choice of carer?

We will always aim to match you with a carer that will match your preferences and most certainly our needs. During your assessment we will discuss your preferences for a carer such as gender and also take into account cultural/religious requirements however we adhere to a strict anti discrimination policy.
A good rapport between the carer and service user is essential to a good service and will always ensure that the service user is happy and satisfied with who cares for them.

We will send out rotas of when and who will be vising you to complete care alls along with their pictures.

We understand the importance of consistency and continuity of care and therefore we will always endeavour to have the same carers work with a service user.

What support is a available for concerned family/carer?

We understand the impact and stresses associated with looking after and out for a loved one. We will always keep family/representatives informed of all aspects of care as long as we are given the permission to where appropriate.

We have a secure family portal via our home care software app that allows designated persons to follow the care services provided in real time. It allows access to the care plans, visit times, the carer visiting and completed tasks. Family members can also leave messages for attention of the carer/management.

What are your prices?

Due to the variety services we offer we have a varied price list, which is why an initial assessment is required to create a bespoke care plan and quote however for a general idea in home visits start from £19 per visit and telephone services start from £10 a week. Prices vary based on tasks and the length of a visit, during your assessment a more accurate idea of costs will be provided.
